Hyatt Regency Tamaya, situated between Santa Fe and Albuquerque at the base of the Sandia Mountains in New Mexico, is a destination unlike anything you have experienced before. Providing a special preview of new works, Upton Greyshoes Ethelbah will be showcasing his newest stone and bronze sculptures. Ethelbah (Santa Clara Pueblo and White Mountain Apache) sculpts the figure in a new contemporary style, drawing inspiration from his native background.
The resort lobby will host Sculptor, Ethelbah with a reception open to the public. Ethelbah will create a stone sculpture live, showcasing the beautiful stone and marble works he carefully selects to present his newest sculpture. Guest will learn about Ethelbah’s native dances, the songs that are prominent in his work and the artist’s choice to tell his story in a new contemporary method.
All are welcome to meet Upton Greyshoes Ethelbah in the lobby of The Hyatt Tamaya. The event is free and open to the public.
