I am currently sculpting "Anasazi Tsideh," a 34" tall, 100 lb. Persian onyx piece inspired by the Macaw figures found on ancient Anasazi pottery and the pottery from several of our New Mexico Pueblos. Onyx is very dense and hard and is difficult to work with, but features striking and dramatc colors and patterns when polished.
